PETRONAS Gas Berhad (PGB) is one of the subsidiaries of PETRONAS and listed on the main market of Bursa Malaysia. Currently, PGB is 60.66% owned by PETRONAS, while the remaining shares are held by other institutional investors and retail shareholders. It is Malaysia’s leading Gas Infrastructure and Utilities company with core businesses in Gas Processing, Gas Transmission and Regasification. The Company processes natural gas piped from offshore fields and transports the processed gas via the Peninsular Gas Utilisation (PGU) pipeline network to PETRONAS’ customers in Malaysia and Singapore. In addition, PGB also supplies steam, power and industrial gases for its customers at Kerteh Integrated Petrochemical Complex in Terengganu and Gebeng Industrial Area in Pahang. PGB operates from its headquarter at the PETRONAS Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur as well as nine regional offices in Peninsular Malaysia and two in East Malaysia.
PGB – Gas Processing Kertih (PGB-GPK) is one of the five operating plants listed under PGB’s Gas Processing & Utilities Unit. It was commissioned in 1984 on the span of 313 acre land. The plant consist of Gas Processing Plant 1, 2, 3, 4 (GPP1, GPP2, GPP3, GPP4) and Dew Point Control Unit (DPCU) as main production unit with Kertih Compressor Station (KCS) as gas transportation unit. The main products of PGB-GPK are namely Methane, Ethane, Propane and Butane.
Under this ownership, PGB has awarded Reach Integrated with Servicing of ROTORK Motor Operated Valves (MOVs) under its GPP4 Shutdown Initiative for year 2022.
